  • I wrote a draft of my article for Teaching Tolerance on the learn-to-code movement.
  • I talked to Monica Bulger about writing for Data & Society.
  • I did some edits on the Domain of One’s Own piece that I’ve submitted to Bright.

Reading


  • I read Wayne Urban’s More Than Science and Sputnik.
  • I'm still reading Edwin Black's IBM and the Holocaust.
  • I watched the season finale of Game of Thrones. I've read the books so I knew that would happen... But still.

Family and Friends


  • I saw Kate Bowles and her daughter (briefly) on their way to LAX and home to Australia.
  • Kin was in San Francisco for a day, then up to Eugene to bring his daughter down here for the next six weeks or so.
  • My Granny is doing worse, then better, then worse, then morphine, then better, so I don't even know.
  • My kid [redacted]. I've been a mess this week, so thank you to all the friends and family who've been here for me.
