Other Projects

  • I contributed a few thoughts on women in ed-tech for a talk Joyce Valenza’s working on.
  • I wrote an article for The Daily Dot’s The Kernel on the changing MOOC narrative. (Not sure when it’ll be published).
  • I worked on the talk I’ll give next week in Amsterdam.
  • I worked on the talk I'll give next week in Madison. (Crap, I need to work on the workshop I'm facilitating!)
  • Therapy, ongoing.

Reading and Viewing

  • I watched the Republication Presidential debate, which was the best TV I’ve seen in a while.
  • I’m still reading Sherry Turkle’s Alone Together.

Friends and Family

  • Sunday night, we were back at Gary Stager and Sylvia Martinez's for a BBQ with Jen Orr, Jeff McClurken, and family.
  • Kin's daughter has headed home.
  • The next few weeks are going to involve a lot of back-to-back travel: Madison to Amsterdam to Toronto to Bangor. The last two are family- not work-related. I’m speaking at my Granny’s memorial in Toronto and then will spend a few days in Maine with my brother and family.
