Other Projects
- Kin and I have started a podcast. It’ll be a few weeks before we have our formal launch, but the plan is to record a show every Sunday in which we discuss the week in tech
- I updated our business’s website, creating a subdomain for the new podcast
- I’ve been pulling the venture funding data for all education startups from 2010 to present. I need to compile all the 2016 data, but I’ll be ready to publish this – including the data – next weekend
- I had breakfast with my old high school friend Tom Adams
- I’m reviewing a book proposal for an academic press – hopefully I’ll wrap this up this afternoon
- I’ve moved my Known installation to a subdomain on this blog, fragments.audreywatters.com, – or Reclaim Hosting has. I’m still trying to get it to work again. Ugh. Technology
- In the meantime, I’ve added a temporary landing page for aud.life. (This, along with hackingschooling.com will not be renewed)
- I chatted with MDA about a story she’s working on for The Atlantic
- I chatted with Bryan Mathers, as I’ve commissioned him to do some drawings for Hack Education (t-shirts and laptop stickers for sale soon)
Reading and Viewing and Listening
- I’ve been listening to Prince on repeat
- I watched Lemonade on Saturday night
- I’m still reading When We Are No More
