- I’ve decided to quit coffee – I’m on day three. I’m not going caffeine-free; I like tea too much
- Hack Education laptop stickers arrived! I spent last night addressing envelopes, and I’ll mail them out to folks on Tuesday once the post office opens

- I watched London Has Fallen and watched and re-watched the season finale of Game of Thrones
Family and Friends 
- Kin and I picked up his daughter in Eugene, and we dropped my son off while we stayed in the PDX area – he’s considering relocating there.
- I saw our friend Margarita while in PDX, a reminder of how academia eats its young and a reminder of how the US health care system is simply a failure
