Writing Here and Elsewhere
- HEWN, No. 280 via tinyletter.com
- Blogging and the Online Review on audreywatters.com
- Academia and Abuse on audreywatters.com
- The Yellow Sofa on audreywatters.com
Teaching Machines
- I wrote about the differences in some of my characters’ obituaries, as well as about a photograph of Norman A. Crowder
- I sent a copy of that photo, along with copies of some of the letters I found that Crowder had written to Sidney Pressey and B. F. Skinner to one of Crowder’s children
Other Projects
- I wrote the draft of an article for Vice
- I spent much of last weekend and a fair amount of time on my birthday on hold with IKEA, who finally delivered our living room furniture on Wednesday
- I set up a newsletter on Substack, as I am moving HEWN there starting next week
- I’m trying to return to blogging – actual blogging – on this site. I’ve committed to write at least 300 words a day (unless I have other writing projects that day)
Reading and Viewing
- I finished reading Particulars of My Life and I’m now on book 2 of B. F. Skinner’s autobiography, The Shaping of a Behaviorist
- We watched Won’t You Be My Neighbor (and I bawled my eyes out), Oceans 8, and The Death of Stalin
